We love books and we love exploring! My partner and I are day-tripping around my home state of Massachusetts to check out all the independent bookstores we can find. This time, we visited Copper Dog Books out in Beverly, MA. The passion that the staff has for reading is obvious from both conversation and their many, many, many written recommendations for the books on the shelves! If you’re not sure what you want to read next, there are many friendly faces here who can provide amazing assistance.

We’ll be paying them another visit this weekend on the North of Boston Book Trail! Starting this Saturday in honor of Indie Bookstore Day, 19 bookstores in the area will be participating in the trail and stamping passports for the event. Get enough stamps this weekend and you will be entered for drawings for gift cards at all 19 stores. If you can’t make it to all of them this weekend, you can still enter for the “slow & steady” prize if you finish by Labor Day!
